Waterfall Lights: A Must-Have Home Decor Accessory
We first saw similar lights to these at our city park as part of the Christmas light display. They were synchronized to music, which is pretty cool.
When a Christmas decoration is easy to install, uses energy saving LEDs, has an app we can control on our phones, and fits into a small container for off-season storage, it's a winner!
At first glance...this is just a set of light strings, with a star on top, that can be set up to look like a Christmas tree. However, once you open the app and connect to the lights...it becomes so much more!!! You can set the lights to change to the music; you can change the lights manually; you can set the lights to dance to your own pattern; and my favorite is the option to have the lights scroll a message across them (Such as Merry Christmas).it’s very bright, has lots of fun settings to choose from, and is very easy to set up.Using the remote, it has lots of effects and colors and speeds.
It was also packaged nicely and neatly with a helpful user manual. All the "legs" or strands coming down come out of the box all wound up and tangled. You need to take some time to sort them out.Next you need to get them in the right order, they're all labelled at the top and the bottom with numbers 1-9. Here's a handy hint - start with number 5. Put it in place first in the middle. Then work out each side to make it easier to balance the spacing. So put #5 in place, then put #4 and #6, then #3 and #7, etc. Then hang it on a tree or wall. you only need to climb up once on 6 foot ladder to install it. The star on top is 11" tall, the "legs" are 11' 10" long. It's big. If you want to fix it well, just tie the end of each light string to the ground nail and insert the nail into the soil
There is a white box that hangs down from the star, and has a dome on it. This dome is the IR receiver for the remote. It's on a small piece of wire, and is quite difficult to get to stay pointed the direction you want. You need put it pointed the direction that you'll use the remote.
It has a red, white and blue setting on the strands for 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc. There's an all white option for wedding or all white Winter. Another remote button setting gives red, white, yellow and green. Another button provides purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red rainbow colors. There are red, white and orange lights on the strand for Fall holidays.
You can use it to decorate your yard and house for the holidays. This tree will exceed your expectations. The app to control the lights is pretty straightforward. There are sooo many settings and customizations! The remote control is huge and has a ton of buttons for different modes. Its uniqueness part is the music synchronization. Watching the lights dance to the beat of the music is a super fun effect.
